Kids FS/GR Nationals Qualifying
ATTENTION: Wrestlers in the Schoolboy, Novice, and Intermediate divisions!
To qualify for the Kids FS/GR Nationals, You must wrestle ONE bout, in either style, at the Northern Plains Regional in Iowa. Your participation in any of USA Wrestling's other regional championships, i.e. Central Regional, DOES NOT qualify you for the Kids FS/GR Nationals.
Greco-Roman State Championships
MOLINE HIGH SCHOOL SATELLITE WEIGH-IN INFORMATION UPDATE.
Weigh-in times have changed to 4 to 5 pm.
GLENBARD NORTH SATELLITE WEIGH-IN INFORMATION UPDATE.
Weigh-in times have changed to 4:30 pm to 6 pm. Parking is available on the east side of the building ONLY and wrestlers should enter DOOR #7 to weigh-in. THE PARKING LOT ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE BUILDING, BETWEEN THE SCHOOL AND FIELDS, IS OFF-LIMITS DUE TO OTHER EVENTS AT THE SCHOOL.
CHICAGO HOPE ACADEMY SATELLITE WEIGH-IN INFORMATION UPDATE.

Freestyle State Championships Recap
We like to thank everyone we participated in the 2013 Freestyle State Championships. It was, by far, the most competitive tournament ever held. Once again we set a record for the total number of participants at 1,074, seven more than 2012. It was a long weekend for everyone and we hope everyone enjoyed the tournament. Again, thank you for supporting IL/USAW.

The Regional Events page has been updated to include the correct START date along with the proper tournament location for USA Wrestling's Regional Championships schedule.
Junior and Cadet division wrestlers are reminded the best way to qualify for the ASICS/Vaugan Junior & Cadet Nationals is to place top three (3) at any of USA Wrestling's regional championships listed on this page.
Please remember your qualification is age group and style specific. For example if you wish to wrestle in the Cadet Greco-Roman Nationals you must finish top three (3) at any of USAW's Cadet Greco-Roman Regional Championships, place top two (2) at the Illinois Cadet Greco-Roman State Championships, or win the Cadet Greco-Roman 2nd Chance National Team Qualifier. Also, a wrestler born in 1996 who places top three (3) at the FILA Cadet Nationals does not qualify for either the Junior or Cadet Nationals.
