USA Junior and 16U National Team Petitioning

Qualifying for this year's team concluded this past weekend with the completion of the Second Chance National Team Qualifier and USA Wrestling's Southern Plains Regional Championships.

Any Illinois wrestler who wishes to petition for a spot on the team needs to complete the petition form : Girls Form Boys Form

Please Note: There are limited spots available to petition.
If a weight class is not listed below there are no petition spots available.

Available spots:

• Girls 16U Freestyle: 88 (4), 94 (4), 100 (2), 112 (1), 118 (1), 136 (1), 142, (1), 155 (1), 170 (4), 190 (1), 235 (2)
• Girls USA Junior Freestyle: 95 (3), 100 (1), 105 (1), 115 (1), 120 (2), 145 (1), 155 (1), 190 (1), 235 (1)


• Boys 16U Greco-Roman: 88 (2), 94 (1), 100 (2), 106 (1), 165 (2), 285 (2)
• Boys 16U Freestyle: 88 (1), 94 (2)


• Boys USA Junior Greco-Roman: 100 (2), 106 (1), 157 (1)
• Boys USA Junior Freestyle: 100 (1), 106 (1)

Petition form will be available until 11:59 pm, Friday, June 7th.
